Marie Flynn experiences the blues at the beach.
Marie Flynn sings the blues at the beach.
Marie Flynn: I went to the beach just the other day.
You know, That's one of the finest places to play.
I took off my shoes and I wiggle my toes.
But when I dip them in the water, it was very cold.
I got the Cold Ocean Blues.
I think I'll go put on my shoes.
And down the beach when we will cruise and get the Cold Ocean Blues.
I picked up my socks and I put them back on.
I couldn't help feeling that something was wrong.
I tied up my laces in a usual bow.
That's when I'm about see between my toes.
I get sand in my shoes.
And it's giving me the blues.
Perhaps, at least a morning snooze.
That I get sand in my shoes.
I walked for a while and I found a small pool.
A place full of water wasn't great so cool.
I sat on a rock and I undid my shoelaces.
I dipped in my feet and wash the weary of the drapers of the sand between my toes.
And then I brush it off my clothes.
And then I laced up my shoes.
And say goodbye to the Cold Ocean Blues.
Bye Bye, Blues.
